This vigorous, upright, red tree develops an unusually columnar habit that fits into a smaller space than forms with broad canopies. Leaves maintain their dramatic red color all season long, and after they drop, the branches continue the colorful display. They darken to a deep, warm red that stands out against the grays and whites of winter.
