Pruning 101: When, Why, & How to Prune
Saturday, March 13 at 10:00am
Pruning is an important part of keeping your trees and shrubs healthy, encouraging new growth, and helping your garden look its best. But knowing what to prune, when to do it, and how much to take off can sometimes feel a little intimidating!
Join Carolyn from our Landscape Team for a hands-on introduction to pruning. In this 1-hour class, she'll cover the basics of timing, tools, and techniques, along with why and how proper pruning makes a difference in the health and growth of your plants.
We'll even head outside and put what we've learned into practice, demonstrating pruning techniques on plants throughout the property.
Dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes or boots. You'll leave with practical tips and a little more confidence to tackle pruning in your own garden!
